NOLS or National Outdoor Leadership School does a great job at showing their students how to dress for the outdoors through a video.  We can use many of their great ideas to think about layering up for our next outdoor adventure or walk in the cold and especially your next trip to Arundel Nature and Science Centre!

Once our students get home, it can sometimes be challenging to get our families back to nature, be it the backyard, local park, hiking trails, and/or nature centres.  Here is a site that can inspire you to get you and your family back to nature on a regular basis!  The Nature Conservancy has some amazing links filled with ideas to connect you to nature.
